Oh Yeah?! with David Downing

The Oh Yeah show was a concept dreamt up by David Downing, as a late night talk show produced in the Tampa Bay region. We filmed a pilot in early 2024 and got picked up later in 2025. I initially was brought on as a creative director, finding solutions to camera angles, design, look and main editor. What initially started as a concept is now in it’s second season.

Working in the basement of a former church, now the Palladium Theater, many problems and limitations arose. It is not a tv set - with limited lighting possibilities, low white ceilings, and locations for cameras. My involvement was to find solutions to produce a show while keeping the vibe of a late night talk show going for a live audience. I created the camera set ups and set design, along with all the graphics seen on the show. I also edited the pilot and episodes 1-6 in the first season. I also created the logo, intro sequence and shoot additional gimbal shots for the show.

More about the show and to watch full episodes, can be found at OhYeahShow.com

In between the pilot and first season, I produced this short highlight reel, using pilot footage along with new footage host David Downing talking about the show.
