One year ago, I was a couple degrees south of the Arctic circle, experiencing the best Iceland had to offer. It started off as a beautiful, cold day, filled with blue skies, waterfalls and glacial lagoons. It ended with the strongest auroral display in the past 3 years. I like to think that I have seen and experienced some really amazing and beautiful things in life, but this day is all alone in number one, truly a life changing moment.
